I saw this thread on WHT today, at the same time, one of our account managers at iWeb told me someone was asking him the difference between the Cogent unmetered services we offer and our high quality network.

It’s a fact, Cogent is the cheapest bandwidth alternative these days and customers have a hard time understanding why there is such a big price difference between Cogent networks and the others. There are a lot of opinions on the subject. Some people will say Cogent is good, others say Cogent is bad. One thing is sure, if you have big bandwidth needs, are on a tight budget and you are ready to sacrifice on availability or performance to get the lowest price, Cogent is the dreamed alternative.

Sorry I did not post since thursday, I was out for the weekend. I had no other choice, it was Québec’s national holiday! I know what you think … web hosting and holidays are not really compatible. You are completely right. I am lucky I now have a team to back me up when I am not there. Believe me, it hasn’t always been like that!

A big part of my life consist of working with web hosting. I live with web hosting, dream about web hosting, wake up in the middle of the night because of web hosting. I could say I think about web hosting 24/7. I visit a lot of web hosting web sites each day and a lot of those web sites might be of interest to other “Web Hosting Geeks”.

I know a lot of Web Hosting Resources, but I do not know any good Web Hosting Blog. Ok, there are good Web Hosting News sites, we might even call Netcraft.Com a blog, but a link blog where links to interesting web hosting resources are posted and where you are allowed to comment the posts? I know 1 or 2 … but that’s about it. If you know good Web Hosting Blogs, let me know!
